Behaviour

It is a primary aim of our school that every member of the school community feels valued and respected, and that each person is treated fairly and well. We are a caring community, the values of which are built on mutual trust and respect for all.

Here at Vine Tree we acknowledge all the efforts and achievements of children, both in and out of school. The Friday sharing assembly gives the children the opportunity to share their achievements outside of school.

Below is our Behaviour Policy which sets out our aims and ethos surrounding expectations of behaviour at Vine Tree Primary School.

At Vine Tree we operate a reward and sanction system called ‘Good to be Green’. The aim of the scheme is for your child to stay ‘Green’ each day and consequently be green all week.

It is really easy for your child to remain green all day, all they have to do is behave well and stay within our 5 key values of ENJOY, RESPECT, TREATED FAIRLY, INCLUDED and LEARN.

Below you can find the letters which go home each year giving a little more information for parents and children regarding our reward system.
