Welcome to our school community

It is a real privilege to lead Vine Tree Primary School and to work alongside our wonderful children, dedicated staff and supportive families.

Since joining Vine Tree, I have been incredibly proud of our children and the many strengths within our school community. Every day, I see children who are curious, enthusiastic and full of potential, and staff who are committed to helping every child succeed.

At Vine Tree, we want every child to feel safe, valued, included and able to thrive. We are committed to providing a rich and engaging curriculum that builds strong foundations in reading, writing and mathematics, while also developing creativity, curiosity, independence and resilience.

Our 3Bs — Be Safe, Be Respectful and Be Ready to Learn — are at the heart of our approach. They provide a clear and consistent understanding of what it means to be part of the Vine Tree community. We want our children to understand not only what we expect, but why these expectations matter and how they help everyone to learn and enjoy school.

We have high expectations for behaviour, learning and relationships because we believe every child deserves the opportunity to flourish. We want Vine Tree to be a place where children feel confident to ask questions, make mistakes, challenge themselves and celebrate their achievements.

Most importantly, we want our children to enjoy coming to school, feel that they belong and be proud to be part of Team Vine Tree.

I look forward to continuing to work closely with our children, families and staff as we develop Vine Tree together and create a school where every child can be the very best they can be.
