English

In Spring 1 we will be learning all about Jacques Coustau through the biographical novel 'Manfish'. We will be writing a school report for him detailing his strengths and challenges incorporating relative clauses and modal verbs. We will then become expert biographers creating our own piece whilst using precise language to detail his life.

In Spring 2 we will sore through the sky with Toothless and Hiccup through 'How to Train Your Dragon'. We will be creating a detailed character description - portraying their looks and personality whilst incorporating expanded noun phrases and apostrophes for posession. We will then go on to write a non-chronological report for a dragon species detailing their appearance, habitat, diet and what dangers they pose.
